1. Dars nomi, maqsad va motivatsiya

Inversion (inversiya) — ega va fe'l/yordamchining o'rnini almashtirish: "I have never seen..." "Never have I seen...". Mexanizm: [inkor ibora] + [yordamchi] + [ega] + [asosiy fe'l]. Yordamchi yo'q bo'lsa — do/does/did qo'shiladi (savoldagidek).

O'xshatish — "teskari burilish": inversiya — mashinada keskin burilish. Oddiy gap — to'g'ri yo'l (ega fe'l). Inkor iborani oldinga chiqarsangiz, gap "buriladi" — fe'l egadan oldinga o'tadi. Bu burilish o'quvchi/tinglovchini "sergak qiladi" — diqqatni tortadi, ta'kid beradi. Lekin har gapda burilaversangiz — "boshingiz aylanadi" (haddan ko'p = sun'iy). Maxsus daqiqalarda ishlating.

Til-fakti: inversiya — rasmiy va adabiy registr belgisi. Og'zaki kundalik tilda kam ("I've never seen it" tabiiy), lekin rasmiy nutq, akademik esse, adabiyot, ritorikada kuchli ta'sir vositasi. Siyosiy nutqlar, kitob ochilishlari, IELTS yozuvida inversiya "sayqal" beradi. Native uni ta'kid + rasmiylik uchun ataylab tanlaydi — bu C1+ mahorat belgisi.

2. Avvalgi darslardan takror (spiral)

3. Grammatika — chuqur, to'liq tushuntirish

3.1. Inkor/cheklov ravishlari gap boshida inversiya

Bu ravishlar gap boshiga chiqsa, inversiya majburiy:

never · rarely · seldom · hardly (ever) · scarcely · barely · little
no sooner ... than · not only ... but also · not until · at no time
on no account · under no circumstances · in no way · nowhere · nor/neither

Misollar:

• Never have I witnessed such kindness. (Hech qachon bunchalik mehr ko'rmaganman.)
• Rarely does one encounter such talent. (Kamdan-kam bunday iste'dod uchraydi.)
• Not until midnight did he realise the truth. (Yarim tungacha haqiqatni anglamadi.)
• Under no circumstances should you open this door. (Hech qanday holatda bu eshikni ochmang.)
• Little did she know what awaited her. (U o'zini nima kutayotganini bilmasdi.)

Yordamchi qoidasi: yordamchi fe'l bo'lmasa, do/does/did qo'shiladi (savoldagidek): "He rarely complains" "Rarely does he complain." Bor yordamchi ishlatiladi: "I have never..." "Never have I...".

3.2. "No sooner / Hardly / Scarcely ... when/than" (ketma-ket voqea)

Ikki voqea tez ketma-ket bo'lsa (biri tugashi bilan ikkinchisi):

No sooner had I arrived THAN the phone rang.
Hardly had she sat down WHEN the doorbell rang.
Scarcely had we left BEFORE it started to rain.

Tuzilma: No sooner + had + ega + V3 + than; Hardly/Scarcely + had + ega + V3 + when. No sooner than (when emas!); Hardly/Scarcely when. Past Perfect ishlatiladi (oldingi voqea).

3.3. "Only + ravish" gap boshida inversiya

Only bilan boshlangan ravish iborasi inversiya:

Only then DID I understand. (Faqat o'shanda tushundim.)
Only after the meeting DID she speak. (Faqat majlisdan keyin gapirdi.)
Only by working hard CAN you succeed. (Faqat tirishqoqlik bilan muvaffaq bo'lasiz.)
Only in this way WILL we improve. (Faqat shu yo'l bilan yaxshilanamiz.)
Only when you leave WILL you appreciate home. (Faqat ketganingizda uyni qadrlaysiz.)

Only + [vaqt/usul/shart] inversiya asosiy gapda (only-iboradan keyin emas, balki gapning qolgan qismida): Only when he called (oddiy) did I relax (inversiya).

3.4. "So / Such ... that" ta'kid bilan

So + sifat/ravish yoki Such + ot gap boshida inversiya:

So beautiful WAS the view that we stayed for hours.
So quickly DID he run that no one could catch him.
Such was his anger that he left the room.
Such a talented singer WAS she that everyone applauded.

So + sifat (So tired was I...); Such + (a) + ot (Such was the noise...). Kuchli ta'kid — adabiy ohang.

3.5. Shartli inversiya (if tushadi) — B2-7 takror+chuqur

Rasmiy shart gaplarda if tushiriladi, yordamchi oldinga chiqadi:

If I were you  WERE I you, I'd accept.
If I had known  HAD I known, I would have come.
If you should need help  SHOULD you need help, call me.
If it were not for you  WERE IT NOT FOR you, I'd fail.
Had it not been for his help, we would have lost.

Faqat 3 yordamchi: were, had, should. Inkor qisqarmaydi: Had I not seen (Hadn't I emas). Bu — eng rasmiy/adabiy shart shakli.

3.6. So/Neither/Nor — qo'shilish (B1 takror+rasmiy)

"I love jazz." — "So DO I." (Men ham)
"I don't smoke." — "Neither DO I." / "Nor DO I." (Men ham yo'q)
He was tired, and so WAS she.
She didn't agree, nor DID her colleagues.

3.7. Joy/yo'nalish ravishi to'liq inversiya (ega + asosiy fe'l)

Joy ravishi gap boshida + harakat fe'li (intransitive) ega va asosiy fe'l almashadi (yordamchisiz!):

Here comes the bus! · There goes my chance!
Down came the rain. · Up went the prices. · Away flew the bird.
On the table SAT a cat. · In the doorway STOOD a stranger.

Farq: bu yerda to'liq inversiya (ega + asosiy fe'l: came the rain), inkor ravishlardagidek yordamchi emas. LEKIN ega olmosh bo'lsa, inversiya bo'lmaydi: Here it comes (Here comes it ), There she goes.

4. Native nozikliklari va qo'shimcha qoidalar

• "Not only ... but also" — ikki qism: Not only did he apologise, but he also paid. Birinchi qismda inversiya, ikkinchida (but also) odatda yo'q.
• "Little did I know" — adabiy klishe: hikoyalarda kuchli — kelajakdagi voqeani oldindan sezdiradi (Little did they know it was a trap).
• "Nor" gap o'rtasida: ikki inkorni bog'laydi: "She didn't call, nor did she write." (...va yozmadi ham).
• "At no point / by no means / on no occasion": kuchli inkor + inversiya: By no means is this acceptable. (Bu aslo qabul qilib bo'lmas.)
• "Many a" + birlik: Many a time have I told you. (Ko'p marta aytdim — adabiy/eski uslub.)
• Faqat RASMIY iborada: not oddiy gap o'rtasida inversiya bermaydi. Faqat inkor ibora gap boshida bo'lsa.
• Qiyoslash inversiyasi ("as" / "than" bilan): rasmiy yozuvda as va thandan keyin ega-fe'l almashishi mumkin: "She passed the exam, as did her brother." (...akasi ham o'tdi kabi), "City workers earn more than do their rural peers." (...qishloqdagilarga qaraganda). "He was late, as was his habit." (...odatiga ko'ra). Bu — native yozuvchining "sayqal" belgisi; as/than + do/did/was + ega tartibi ma'lumot takrorini oldini oladi va ohangni ko'taradi.
• "So too" — qo'shimchani ta'kidlab bog'lash: "Prices rose, and so too did unemployment." (...ishsizlik ham). So too — "shuningdek, xuddi shunday" ma'nosida, ikkinchi bandga inversiya beradi — rasmiy esse/tahlilda keng tarqalgan.
• "Gone are the days" — sifat/sifatdosh fronting: ega o'rniga sifat/sifatdosh gap boshiga chiqsa, to be fe'li oldinga o'tadi: "Gone are the days when letters took weeks." (O'sha kunlar o'tdi...), "Such is life.", "So great was the storm...". Adabiy-ritorik ohang beradi; ega — ot bo'lishi shart (olmosh emas).

5. Ko'p misollar — tur bo'yicha

INKOR RAVISH:  Never have I felt so alive. / Seldom do we see such courage.
               Not once did he complain. / At no time were we informed.
KETMA-KET:     No sooner had the game begun than it started to rain.
ONLY:          Only after years did the truth emerge. / Only by trying will you learn.
SO/SUCH:       So great was the demand that they sold out. / Such was his fame...
SHARTLI:       Were I in charge, things would change. / Had we known, we'd have helped.
SO/NEITHER:    "I'm exhausted." — "So am I." / He can't swim, nor can I.
JOY:           Here comes trouble. / Down the hill rolled the ball.
KUCHLI INKOR:  Under no circumstances must you tell anyone.
               On no account should this be repeated.

6. Holat/case yechimlari

1. "Men hech qachon bunday go'zallik ko'rmaganman" — ta'kidli, rasmiy.

• Never have I seen such beauty. (yordamchi have oldinga, I keyin).

2. "U kelishi bilan telefon jiringladi" — adabiy.

• No sooner had he arrived than the phone rang. (no sooner than, Past Perfect).

3. "Faqat o'shanda haqiqatni angladim."

• Only then did I realise the truth. (only then inversiya: did I).

4. "Agar bilganimda, kelardim" — eng rasmiy (if'siz).

• Had I known, I would have come. (Had oldinga, if tushadi).

5. "Hech qanday holatda buni takrorlamang."

• Under no circumstances should you repeat this. (kuchli inkor + inversiya).

6. "Avtobus keldi!" (jonli, og'zaki) — lekin ega olmosh bo'lsa?

• Ot: Here comes the bus! (to'liq inversiya). Olmosh: Here it comes! (inversiya YO'Q).

7. Kengaytirilgan lug'at + kollokatsiya (inversiya iboralari)

Tayyor iboralar (C1 ravonlik — ta'kid):

• Not for a moment did I doubt you. — Bir lahza ham sizdan shubhalanmadim.
• Nowhere is this clearer than in... — Bu hech qayerda ...dagidek aniq emas.
• Only time will tell. — Faqat vaqt ko'rsatadi. (idiomatik)

Native siri: inversiyani gap boshida ishlating, kamdan-kam (har paragrafda 1 marta yetarli) — shunda u "kuchli" qoladi. Esse/nutqning muhim nuqtasida (xulosa, asosiy da'vo) qo'ying: "Not only does this save money, but it also saves lives." — bitta jumla, ikki barobar ta'sir.

8. Dialog (inversiya — rasmiy va jonli)

A: I have to say, that was the best presentation I've seen. B: Really? Never have I been so nervous, to be honest! A: It didn't show. Not only did you explain it clearly, but you also made it fun. B: That means a lot. Little did I know how much work it would be. A: So convincing was your argument that the board approved it on the spot. B: No sooner had I finished than they started asking about the budget! A: Ha! Well, only by preparing so thoroughly could you have pulled that off. B: True. Under no circumstances would I have walked in there unprepared. A: Were I you, I'd ask for a raise after that. B: Funny you should say that — that's exactly what I'm thinking!

Tahlil: Never have I, Not only did you...but you also, Little did I know, So convincing was, No sooner had I...than, only by...could you, Under no circumstances would I, Were I you — 8 xil inversiya tabiiy professional suhbatda. Diqqat: bular rasmiyroq/ta'kidli ohang beradi.

9. O'qish — graded matn (C1 — inversiyaga boy, adabiy)

The art of emphasis

Rarely does a single grammatical structure carry as much power as inversion. Not only does it lend formality to a sentence, but it also draws the reader's eye to precisely what the writer wishes to stress.

Consider the difference. "I had never imagined such a result" is perfectly correct — yet flat. Never had I imagined such a result: suddenly, the sentence breathes drama. The reordering is subtle, but the effect is unmistakable.

So central is this device to formal English that mastering it marks a clear step towards fluency. No sooner do learners begin to wield it than their writing acquires a new sophistication. Only through deliberate practice, however, can it be used naturally — for little does it serve a writer to scatter inversions carelessly across a page.

Used sparingly, at the climax of an argument, inversion is rhetoric's quiet weapon. Under no circumstances, though, should it be overused — for nowhere is elegance more easily lost than in excess.

10. Tipik xatolar (C1 inversiya)

Asosiy tuzoq: (1) inkor ibora gap boshida majburiy inversiya (yordamchi + ega); (2) yordamchi yo'q bo'lsa do/does/did; (3) if + inversiya birga kelmaydi; (4) inversiya inkori qisqarmaydi (had I not); (5) olmosh ega joy inversiyasi yo'q.

11. Chuqur tahlil — qo'shimcha faktlar va nozikliklar

C1 dan C2 ga ko'prik.

(a) Inversiya — "fokus" mexanizmi. Gap boshiga chiqqan element eng kuchli urg'u oladi (ingliz tilida gap boshi va oxiri — kuchli pozitsiyalar). Inkor iborani oldinga olib + inversiya = "Men buni TA'KIDLAYapman" signali. Bu — informatsion struktura nazariyasi (fronting + inversion).

(b) Faqat ba'zi inkorlar inversiya beradi. Never, rarely, seldom, hardly, little, not until, only ha. Lekin oddiy not (gap o'rtasida) yoki sometimes, often (ijobiy) yo'q. Cheklov/inkor ma'nosi shart. "Sometimes do I..." (faqat inkor/cheklov).

(c) "Little" — maxsus. Little bu yerda "oz" emas, balki "deyarli umuman emas/bilmasdan" ma'nosida: Little did he suspect (umuman shubhalanmadi). Faqat know, suspect, realise, think, dream, imagine fe'llari bilan — adabiy klishe.

(d) Ko'tarilgan inkor (negative raising). "Not until he apologised did she forgive him" — not until-bo'lak butun gapdan oldinga ko'tarilib, asosiy gapga inversiya beradi. Murakkab: inkor ibora ergash gapni o'z ichiga oladi, lekin inversiya bosh gapda.

(e) Rasmiy register — kontekst muhim. Inversiya og'zaki kundalik tilda g'alati/dabdabali eshitilishi mumkin ("Never have I seen such a mess in my room!" — do'stga haddan rasmiy). U rasmiy yozuv, nutq, adabiyotga mos. Registerga moslang (B2-54).

(f) Ritorik kuch — uchlik (tricolon) bilan. Nutqlarda inversiya ko'pincha takror bilan: "Never have we been so united, never have we been so determined, never have we been so ready." — uch marta = kuchli ritorik effekt (Churchill uslubi).

(g) "So" vs "Such" — grammatik farq. So + sifat/ravish (So tired was I, So quickly did he run). Such + (a/an) + ot (Such a fool was he, Such was the chaos). Ot bormi such; sifat yolg'izmi so.

(h) Inversiya va cleft — ikki ta'kid usuli. "It was only then that I understood" (cleft, B2-30) = "Only then did I understand" (inversion). Ikkalasi ta'kid beradi; inversiya rasmiyroq/adabiyroq, cleft neytralroq/og'zaki. C1 da ikkalasini ham boshqarasiz.

C2 ko'prik: inversiya — rasmiy ingliz tilining "yuqori pog'onasi". Uni avtomatik (o'ylamasdan) va mos (faqat rasmiy/ta'kidli kontekstda, kamdan-kam) ishlatish — C1+ belgisi. C2 da inversiya intuitiv bo'ladi: yozayotganda qaysi jumla ta'kid talab qilishini his qilasiz va tabiiy "burasiz". Cleft, fronting va emphatic do bilan birga — ingliz ta'kid arsenali to'liq.

12. Mashqlar

A. Inversiya bilan qayta yozing:

1. I have never heard such nonsense. 2. She had hardly arrived when it began. 3. You must not touch it under any circumstances. 4. I understood the joke only then.

13. Amaliy topshiriq (Wisar AI bilan)

Maqsad: inversiyani ravon, mos va ta'kidli ishlatish (C1 sofistikatsiya).

Vazifa — rol o'yini (tanlang):

• (A) Ta'sirli nutq: Siz biror mavzuda (motivatsion, qabul nutqi, taqdimot xulosasi) qisqa nutq so'zlaysiz — kamida 5 xil inversiya ishlatib, ta'kid bering. Masalan: "Never have we faced such a challenge. Not only must we adapt, but we must also lead..."
• (B) Rasmiy yozuv: Bir fikrni (esse paragrafi yoki rasmiy xat) yozasiz, inversiyani xulosa/asosiy da'voni ta'kidlash uchun ishlatib.
