C1 — 7-dars: Nuance va kuchaytiruvchilar (aniq so'z tanlash — IELTS 8 kaliti)
C1 — ILG'OR · 7-dars · (kengaytirilgan chuqurlik) · IELTS band 8 — Lexical Resource
1. Dars nomi, maqsad va motivatsiya
Hedging (C1-6) da'voni yumshatdi; bu dars uning teskari va to'ldiruvchi tomonini beradi — darajalash va aniq so'z tanlash: "very big" (bo'sh, takroriy) "enormous / vast / immense" (aniq, kuchli); "very tired" "exhausted"; "very angry" "furious". Native har bir tushunchaning aniq darajasini biladi va mos kuchaytiruvchini tanlaydi: deeply concerned, bitterly disappointed, highly unlikely, utterly ridiculous.
Bu — IELTS band 8 ning eng katta kaliti. IELTS Lexical Resource mezoni band 8 uchun aynan shuni talab qiladi: "a wide range of vocabulary used fluently and flexibly to convey precise meanings" + "skilful use of uncommon and idiomatic items" + "collocation". "very + oddiy sifat" — band 6 belgisi; "aniq, kam uchraydigan so'z + to'g'ri kollokatsiya" — band 8. Bu dars sizni aynan o'sha pog'onaga ko'taradi.
Sizning maqsadingiz — masofaviy ish va IELTS 8 — uchun bu hal qiluvchi: aniq so'z tanlash sizni ravon, ta'lim olgan, professional ko'rsatadi. "It was a very good presentation" (zaif) vs "It was an outstanding presentation" (kuchli) — bir xil fikr, ikki xil daraja.
ASOSIY tushuncha — ikki yo'l bilan kuchaytirish. Tushunchani kuchaytirishning ikki usuli bor, va C1/IELTS 8 ikkinchisini afzal ko'radi:
Yo'l Misol Daraja (1) kuchaytiruvchi + oddiy so'z very big, very tired, really good band 6 (takroriy) (2) bitta aniq, kuchli so'z enormous, exhausted, excellent band 8 (aniq) Native ko'pincha (2)-yo'lni tanlaydi. very — boshlovchining "tayanchi"; ekspert aniq so'z biladi.
O'xshatish — "rassom palitrasi". Boshlovchi rassomda 3 ta bo'yoq bor: good, bad, very. Hamma narsa shu uchtaning aralashmasi (very good, very very bad). Ekspert rassomda 100 ta tus bor: excellent, superb, outstanding, brilliant, exceptional, remarkable. Har vaziyatga aniq tus. IELTS ekspert (band 8) aynan shu boy palitrani ko'rsatadi — har fikrga eng aniq so'z.
Til-fakti: ingliz sifatlari ikki turga bo'linadi: gradable (darajalanadigan: big, cold, good — kichikdan kattagacha shkala) va non-gradable/extreme (mutlaq: enormous, freezing, perfect — allaqachon "eng yuqori"). Bu farq kuchaytiruvchini belgilaydi: very big lekin very enormous (enormous = allaqachon "juda katta"). Extreme so'zlar bilan absolutely/utterly/completely. Bu — o'zbek so'zlashuvchilar uchun yangi tizim (o'zbekcha "juda" hamma narsaga qo'shiladi — L1 transfer xatosi: very enormous).
2. Avvalgi darslardan takror (spiral)
- C1-6 (hedging): da'voni yumshatish. Bugun teskari — darajalash + booster.
- B2-26 (gradable/extreme sifatlar): big/enormous, very/absolutely. Bugun to'liq + IELTS.
- B2-27 (ravishlar): daraja ravishlari. Bugun chuqur kollokatsiya.
- B2-6 / LUGAT (so'z oilalari, sinonim): aniq so'z tanlash.
- Tez mashq: "very tired" ni bitta so'z bilan exhausted. / "very big" enormous/huge. / "very angry" furious.
3. Grammatika — chuqur, to'liq tushuntirish
3.1. Gradable vs non-gradable sifatlar — asosiy tizim
Gradable (shkala bor — oz/ko'p): big, small, cold, hot, tired, good, bad, interesting, important, angry, happy. Kuchaytiruvchi: very, extremely, really, quite, rather, fairly, a bit, slightly, too.
very cold · extremely tired · rather interesting · a bit difficult · fairly commonNon-gradable / Extreme (mutlaq — allaqachon "eng yuqori"): enormous, freezing, exhausted, fascinating, terrible, awful, brilliant, furious, delighted, starving, boiling, ancient, tiny, huge. Kuchaytiruvchi: absolutely, utterly, completely, totally, simply (very !).
absolutely freezing · utterly exhausted · completely terrible · simply brilliantvery enormous , very freezing , very exhausted — extreme so'z bilan very ishlatilmaydi (so'z allaqachon "very" ma'nosini o'z ichiga oladi). absolutely enormous, utterly freezing, completely exhausted.
Absolute/classifying (yo'q yoki bor — oraliq yo'q): perfect, unique, impossible, dead, free, equal, complete, right, wrong. Faqat absolutely, completely, totally (very ): absolutely perfect, completely impossible, totally unique.
3.2. Daraja ravishlari — to'liq shkala (kuchsizdan kuchligacha)
MINIMIZER (deyarli yo'q): hardly, barely, scarcely, little
DIMINISHER (ozgina): slightly, somewhat, a little, a bit, marginally, mildly, partially
MODERATOR (o'rtacha): quite, fairly, rather, pretty, reasonably, moderately, relatively

MAXIMIZER (eng yuqori): absolutely, completely, totally, utterly, entirely, fully,
perfectly, thoroughly, downrightGradable so'z moderator/booster (fairly good, very good). Extreme/absolute so'z maximizer (absolutely perfect, utterly hopeless). Shkalani bilish = aniq daraja ifodalash.
3.3. Kuchli kollokatsiyalar — qaysi booster qaysi so'z bilan (IELTS 8 yuragi)
Bu — eng muhim bo'lim: ravish + sifat juftliklari qat'iy (boshqasini qo'ysangiz "g'alati"):
deeply concerned, worried, sorry, moved, ashamed, religious, divided
highly likely, unlikely, successful, skilled, controversial, recommended, paid
bitterly disappointed, cold, opposed, divided, regret
strongly believe, oppose, recommend, suggest, agree, disagree
fully aware, understand, support, recovered, booked

utterly ridiculous, exhausted, hopeless, useless, convinced
acutely aware, conscious, embarrassing
widely available, known, regarded, used, believed
deeply / vastly different, deeply rooted, vastly superior
ridiculously / absurdly cheap, expensive, easyNative siri (IELTS 8): "highly likely" (NOT very likely — rasmiy), "deeply concerned" (NOT very concerned), "bitterly disappointed" (NOT very disappointed). Bu juftliklar — "collocation" mezoni: band 8 "produces... collocations skilfully". Yodlash birligi — butun juftlik, yakka so'z emas.
3.4. "very + oddiy" bitta aniq so'z (IELTS lexical resource)
IELTS band 8: aniq, kam uchraydigan so'z. very + weak adjective o'rniga bitta kuchli so'z:
very big huge, enormous, vast, immense, massive, gigantic
very small tiny, minuscule, microscopic
very tired exhausted, drained, worn out
very happy delighted, thrilled, elated, overjoyed, ecstatic
very angry furious, livid, enraged, irate
very sad devastated, heartbroken, miserable

very important crucial, vital, essential, paramount
very interesting fascinating, gripping, compelling, riveting
very beautiful stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking, exquisite
very surprised astonished, astounded, stunned, flabbergasted
very clean spotless, immaculate, pristine3.5. "quite" — ikki ma'no (gradable vs non-gradable, BrE)
quite + GRADABLE = "ancha/-gina" (pasaytiruvchi): quite good (yaxshigina, lekin a'lo emas)
quite + EXTREME/ABSOLUTE = "butunlay" (kuchaytiruvchi): quite perfect (mutlaqo mukammal)
quite impossible (butunlay imkonsiz)quite good (BrE) = "yaxshi, lekin eng zo'r emas" (pasaytirish). quite right/perfect/extraordinary = "to'liq, mutlaqo" (kuchaytirish). AmE da quite ko'pincha "very" (kuchaytiruvchi). Kontekst muhim.
3.6. Modal-darajalash birikmasi (nozik daraja)
may/might well, could well — ehtimol yuqori: This may well be the best option.
nowhere near — umuman emas: It's nowhere near good enough.
by far — sezilarli: by far the best / by far the most important
all the more — yanada: This makes it all the more impressive.
every bit as ... as — xuddi shunday: every bit as good as the original4. Native nozikliklari va qo'shimcha qoidalar
- Konnotatsiya (ijobiy/salbiy bo'yoq) — IELTS aniqlik: sinonimlar bir xil emas — bo'yog'i farq qiladi:
Ijobiy Neytral Salbiy slim, slender thin skinny, scrawny confident self-assured arrogant thrifty, frugal careful with money stingy, miserly determined firm stubborn, obstinate curious interested nosy childlike youthful childish Noto'g'ri bo'yoq — IELTS'da "imprecise" (band pasaytiradi). "My boss is stubborn" (salbiy) vs "determined" (ijobiy) — kontekstga qarang. - "pretty" (og'zaki moderator): "pretty good, pretty tired" = "ancha" (quite). Norasmiy — IELTS Speakingda OK, Writingda kamroq.
- "rather" — ikki vazifa: pasaytirish (rather difficult = anchayin qiyin) yoki salbiy ajablanish (rather a lot = ancha ko'p — kutilmaganda).
- Extreme so'zni kuchaytirib bo'lmaydi, lekin "absolutely" emfatik: "absolutely amazing!" (kuchaytirish emas, hissiy ta'kid). Og'zaki nutqda keng.
- "too" ≠ "very": too = "haddan ortiq (salbiy)" — too hot (juda issiq — yomon). very hot (neytral). IELTS'da aralashtirish — ma'no xatosi.
- Booster takrori (IELTS xato): "very, very good" yoki har gapda very — band pasaytiradi ("limited range"). Almashtiring: extremely, remarkably, exceptionally, outstanding.
- Kuchaytiruvchi RAVISH emas, SIFAT (native nozikligi — band 8): ravish (utterly) sifatni kuchaytiradi, lekin ingliz tilida bir guruh sifatlar otni to'g'ridan-to'g'ri kuchaytiradi (faqat ot oldida — attributive): sheer, utter, total, complete, downright, outright, pure, mere. sheer madness (mutlaq telbalik), utter nonsense (bema'nilikning o'zi), a total disaster, downright dangerous, pure luck, a complete waste. Bu — "very" dan butunlay boshqa, ancha kuchli va idiomatik yo'l: "It was utter chaos" > "It was very chaotic". Bu sifatlar odatda ot oldida turadi va darajalanmaydi (sheer ni very sheer deb bo'lmaydi); ko'pchiligi salbiy/kuchli ottinkli otlar bilan yuradi (chaos, nonsense, madness, waste, disaster).
5. Ko'p misollar — zaif kuchli (IELTS uslubida)
ZAIF (band 6): KUCHLI (band 8):
The film was very good. The film was outstanding / a masterpiece.

- It's by far the most... I've ever... — Bu men ko'rgan eng... (sezilarli).
- I can't stress enough how... — ...ekanini ta'kidlamasdan ilojim yo'q.
- It's second to none. — Tengi yo'q. (idiomatik — band 8 idiom!)
- It leaves a lot to be desired. — Ko'p narsa yetishmaydi. (yumshoq tanqid idiom)
Native siri (IELTS 8): IELTS Speaking band 8 = "idiomatic language naturally". Kuchaytirishning eng "native" yo'li — idiom: "It cost a fortune" (juda qimmat), "I was over the moon" (juda xursand), "It drove me up the wall" (juda g'ashlantirdi), "miles better" (ancha yaxshi). Bularni tabiiy (majburlamasdan) qo'shsangiz — examiner darhol band 8 ko'radi. Lekin haddan ko'p/noto'g'ri idiom — teskari ta'sir (band tushadi). Mos, tabiiy ishlating.
8. Dialog (aniq so'z tanlash — IELTS Speaking uslubida)
Examiner: Tell me about a memorable trip you've taken. Candidate: Well, by far the most memorable was my trip to Japan. It was absolutely breathtaking — not just "nice", genuinely stunning. Tokyo was utterly overwhelming at first, incredibly fast-paced and densely packed, but I grew to love it. Examiner: What did you enjoy most? Candidate: Honestly, the food. It was exceptional — second to none, I'd say. Even a simple bowl of ramen was out of this world. And the people were remarkably polite — deeply respectful in a way that's hard to put into words. Examiner: Was there anything you disliked? Candidate: The prices, perhaps. Some areas were ridiculously expensive — Tokyo can cost a fortune. But honestly, it was worth every penny. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Tahlil: by far, absolutely breathtaking, genuinely stunning, utterly overwhelming, incredibly, densely packed, exceptional, second to none, out of this world, remarkably, deeply respectful, hard to put into words, ridiculously expensive, a fortune, worth every penny, in a heartbeat — aniq sifatlar + kuchli kollokatsiya + idiomlar. Bu — IELTS Speaking band 8 (range + precision + idiomatic + collocation). very deyarli yo'q!
9. O'qish — graded matn (C1 — aniq so'z tanlashga oid, IELTS)
The tyranny of "very"
If there is one word that betrays an intermediate learner of English, it is, paradoxically, one of the simplest: very. There is nothing wrong with it in itself — but the habit of reaching for it at every turn flattens one's language into a grey, repetitive monotone. "Very big," "very tired," "very important": the meaning survives, yet all colour drains away.
The advanced writer thinks differently. Faced with something "very big," they pause — and choose. Is it enormous? Vast? Immense? Colossal? Each carries its own precise shade. Exhausted says in one word what "very tired" labours to convey in two. And furious is not merely "very angry"; it is angrier, sharper, more alive.
Beyond single words lies the subtler art of collocation. A native speaker is not very concerned but deeply concerned; not very likely but highly likely; not very disappointed but bitterly so. These pairings cannot be reasoned out — they must be learned, absorbed, and ultimately felt.
For the IELTS candidate, the lesson is plain. Examiners do not reward very; they reward range, precision, and the confident, idiomatic pairing of words. Master that, and your English will cease to be merely correct — it will become, in a word, compelling.
Topshiriq: Matndagi har bir aniq so'zni ("enormous, exhausted, furious, deeply, highly, bitterly, compelling") topib, uning "very + oddiy" muqobilini ayting. Qaysi biri kollokatsiya (deeply/highly/bitterly)? Nega ular very dan kuchli?
10. Tipik xatolar (L1 transfer + IELTS lexical)
| Xato | Sababi | To'g'risi |
|---|---|---|
| very enormous / very perfect | extreme/absolute + very | absolutely enormous / absolutely perfect |
| very delighted / very exhausted | extreme + very | utterly exhausted / absolutely delighted |
| very concerned (rasmiy) | kollokatsiya | deeply concerned |
| very likely (rasmiy yozuv) | kollokatsiya | highly likely |
| She is very stubborn (maqtov nazarda) | konnotatsiya | She is determined (ijobiy) |
| The weather was too hot (neytral nazarda) | too=salbiy | The weather was very hot |
| very very good / good good | takror (limited range) | excellent / outstanding |
| I am very interesting in... | interested ≠ interesting | I am very interested in... (B2-26) |
| big big problem | takror | major / serious problem |
Asosiy tuzoq (IELTS): (1) extreme/absolute so'z + very absolutely/utterly; (2) kollokatsiyani buzma (deeply concerned, highly likely); (3) very + oddiy ni bitta aniq so'zga almashtir (band 8); (4) konnotatsiyani to'g'ri tanla (determined vs stubborn); (5) very ni takrorlama — almashtir.
11. Chuqur tahlil — qo'shimcha faktlar va nozikliklar (IELTS 8 fokusi)
C1 dan C2 ga ko'prik.
(a) IELTS Lexical Resource band 8 — aniq deskriptor. Rasmiy: "uses a wide range of vocabulary fluently and flexibly to convey precise meanings; uses less common and idiomatic vocabulary skilfully, with occasional inaccuracies in word choice and collocation." Ya'ni band 8 = aniqlik + kam uchraydigan so'z + idiom + kollokatsiya (ozgina xato kechiriladi). Bu dars to'g'ridan-to'g'ri shu mezonni mashq qiladi.
(b) Band 7 vs 8 farqi — aniq. Band 7: "sufficient range... some awareness of style and collocation." Band 8: "wide range... skilful collocation... idiomatic." Sakrash nuqtasi — aynan kollokatsiya mahorati + idiom + aniqlik. very good excellent (precision), deeply concerned (collocation), cost a fortune (idiom) — uchovi birga band 8.
(c) "Skilfully" — tabiiy, majburlanmagan. IELTS idiom/kuchli so'zni tabiiy ishlatishni talab qiladi. Majburan tiqilgan idiom ("It was raining cats and dogs and I was over the moon" — bir gapda ikkita, noo'rin) — band pasaytiradi. 1-2 ta mos idiom > 5 ta noo'rin. Sifat > miqdor.
(d) Gradability mantiqi — semantik. Extreme so'z (enormous) o'z ichida "very" ni saqlaydi (enormous = "very big"). Shuning uchun very enormous = "very very big" — ortiqcha. absolutely esa "to'liq shkala oxiri" ma'nosi — extreme bilan mos. Bu mantiqni tushunsangiz, qoidani yodlamaysiz — his qilasiz.
(e) Downtoner — IELTS'da ham kerak. Faqat booster emas — somewhat, fairly, relatively, to some degree ham band 8 (nuance ko'rsatadi): "a somewhat controversial view", "relatively minor issue". Hedging (C1-6) bilan birga — to'liq daraja nazorati. Examiner "flexible" deb baholaydi.
(f) "Amplifier + amplifier" (og'zaki kuchaytirish). Native og'zaki tilda: "absolutely massive", "seriously good", "ridiculously easy", "incredibly tiny". Bu kombinatsiyalar tabiiy (Speaking band 8), lekin Writingda ehtiyot (rasmiyroq: exceptionally, remarkably). Register farqi (B2-54).
(g) Konnotatsiya = "precise meaning". IELTS "convey precise meanings" — so'zning bo'yog'i ham aniqlik. "My grandfather is old" (neytral) vs "elderly" (hurmatli) vs "ancient" (kulgili/qo'pol odam haqida). Noto'g'ri bo'yoq = "inaccuracy in word choice". To'g'ri konnotatsiya = band 8.
(h) Sinonim shkalasi (kuch darajasi). Sinonimlar bir xil kuchda emas — shkala: good < great < excellent < outstanding < exceptional < phenomenal; annoyed < angry < furious < livid < incandescent. Band 8 = vaziyatga mos kuch (kichik narsaga phenomenal — mubolag'a/noaniq). Aniqlik = to'g'ri daraja.
(i) "Less common vocabulary" — Oxford 5000 dan tashqari. Band 8 = kundalik so'zdan tashqari: meticulous (juda ehtiyotkor), profound (chuqur), detrimental (zararli), paramount (eng muhim), inevitable (muqarrar), abundant (mo'l). Lekin to'g'ri ishlatilgan bo'lsa — noto'g'ri "katta so'z" band tushiradi. LUGAT C1 (30-34) shu so'zlar.
(j) Collocation — "dictionary in your head". Native miyasida so'zlar birga saqlanadi (make a decision, heavy rain, deeply concerned). Band 8 = shu juftliklarni bilish. Yodlash strategiyasi: yangi sifatni uning odatiy ravishi/oti bilan birga yozing (LUGAT formati). concerned deeply concerned; likely highly likely.
C2 ko'prik (IELTS 89): band 8 = aniqlik + kollokatsiya + idiom (ozgina xato OK). Band 9 = "full flexibility and precise use" — xatosiz, mutlaqo tabiiy. C2 da aniq so'z tanlash intuitiv: har tushunchaga eng mos so'z o'z-o'zidan keladi, kollokatsiya buzilmaydi, idiom tabiiy. Bu — boy o'qish (kitob/maqola) va faol ishlatish bilan keladi. Nuance + hedging + register + so'z oilalari — Lexical Resource arsenali to'liq egallanadi. Keyingi darslar (kollokatsiya, idiom, sofistikatsiyalangan lug'at) buni chuqurlashtiradi.
