C1 — 5-dars: Conditionals — ilg'or va yashirin (mixed, inverted, implied)
C1 — ILG'OR · 5-dars · (kengaytirilgan chuqurlik)
1. Dars nomi, maqsad va motivatsiya
Shart gaplarning asoslarini (0/1/2/3) B2 da egalladingiz. C1 da maqsad — ularning nozik, aralash va "yashirin" shakllarini ravon ishlatish: "If I had taken that job, I would be rich now" (o'tmish sharti hozirgi natija — aralash); "Were I to leave, who would manage?" (rasmiy inversion); "But for your help, I'd have failed" (if'siz, yashirin shart).
Bu — professional va akademik ingliz tilining belgisi: muloqotda nozik farazlarni ifodalash, intervyuda gipotetik vaziyatlarni muhokama qilish ("If I were to join your team, I would focus on..."), va yozuvda turli xil, ravon shart tuzilmalari. Native shartni o'nlab usulda ifodalaydi — siz ham ulardan birortasiga "qotib qolmasdan", kontekstga mos shaklni tanlaysiz.
ASOSIY tushuncha — shart = vaqt + reallik. Har shart gapda ikki o'lcham: (1) vaqt (o'tmish/hozir/kelajak) va (2) reallik (real/xayoliy). C1 da bu ikkisi erkin aralashadi:
Shart vaqti Natija vaqti Misol o'tmish (xayoliy) hozir If I had slept, I wouldn't be tired now. hozir (umumiy) o'tmish If I were brave, I would have asked. Mantiq: har bo'lakka o'z vaqtiga mos shakl tanlaysiz — ular mos kelishi shart emas.
O'xshatish — "domino effekti". Shart gap — domino: birinchi tosh (shart) ikkinchisini (natija) ag'daradi. C1 da domino vaqtlarni kesib o'tadi: o'tmishda yiqilgan tosh (if I had studied) bugun natija beradi (I'd be a doctor now). Sabab va oqibat turli zamonlarda bo'lishi mumkin — siz "qaysi tosh qachon" ekanini aniq belgilaysiz.
Til-fakti: ingliz tilida shartni ifodalashning 30+ usuli bor — if faqat eng oddiysi. Unless, but for, otherwise, supposing, provided that, were it not for, given, without, say, what if, on condition that... Bularning har biri nozik tus beradi (rasmiylik, ehtimol darajasi, urg'u). C1 mahorat — if ga "qaram bo'lmasdan", kontekstga eng mos shaklni tanlash. O'zbek tilida shart bitta qo'shimcha (-sa) bilan beriladi — ingliz tilining bu boyligi L1 transfer qiyinligi.
2. Avvalgi darslardan takror (spiral)
- B2-5/6 (conditionals + mixed): 0/1/2/3 + aralash kirish. Bugun to'liq + yashirin.
- B2-7 / C1-2 (conditional inversion): Were I, Had I, Should you. Bugun chuqur + were to.
- C1-1 (masofa): o'tgan zamon = noreallik — shartning yuragi.
- C1-4 (subjunctive): were, were it not for — subjunctive + shart.
- Tez mashq: "If I had studied, I would be successful now" — bu qaysi aralash? (o'tmish shart hozir natija). "But for you..." = ? (= If it weren't for you).
3. Grammatika — chuqur, to'liq tushuntirish
3.1. Mixed conditionals — aralash shart (vaqtlar kesishadi)
(a) O'tmish shart HOZIRGI natija (3-shart if + 2-shart natija):
If + Past Perfect, ... would + V1 (hozir)
If I had taken that job, I would be wealthy now.
(O'sha ishni olganimda, hozir boy bo'lardim.)
If she had studied medicine, she would be a doctor today.O'tmishdagi (bo'lmagan) harakat bugungi (mavjud bo'lmagan) natija. would be (would have been emas — natija HOZIR).
(b) HOZIRGI/umumiy shart o'tmish natija (2-shart if + 3-shart natija):
If + Past Simple, ... would have + V3 (o'tmish)
If I weren't so shy, I would have asked her out.
(Shunchalik uyatchan bo'lmaganimda, uni taklif qilardim — o'tmishda.)
If he were more careful, he wouldn't have crashed.Doimiy/umumiy holat (uyatchanlik — hali ham) o'tmishdagi oqibat. were (umumiy holat) + would have (o'tmish natija).
3.2. Inverted conditionals — if'siz, rasmiy (C1-2 chuqur)
If tushadi, yordamchi oldinga (faqat were, had, should):
Were I in your position, I'd accept. (= If I were)
Had I known, I would have helped. (= If I had known)
Should you need anything, call me. (= If you should need)
Had it not been for the delay, we'd have arrived. (= If it had not been for)"Were + to" (gipotetik kelajak — eng rasmiy):
Were I to resign, who would take over? (= If I were to resign)
Were the company to fail, hundreds would lose their jobs. Were + ega + to + V1 — kelajakdagi xayoliy faraz (rasmiy). Should = "tasodifan, bordi-yu": Should it rain (= If it happens to rain). Inkor qisqarmaydi: Had I not seen (Hadn't I emas).
3.3. Implied/reduced conditionals — yashirin shart (if'siz)
Shart to'liq if-gap bilan emas, boshqa so'z/iboralar bilan beriladi:
(a) But for / If it weren't for / If it hadn't been for (= ...bo'lmaganda):
But for your help, I would have failed. (Yordamingiz bo'lmaganda...)
If it weren't for the traffic, we'd be there. (hozir)
If it hadn't been for the rain, the match would have continued. (o'tmish)(b) Otherwise (= if not / aks holda):
I set an alarm; otherwise, I would have overslept.
Take a map. Otherwise, you might get lost.(c) Without / With (= if there were/weren't):
Without water, life would be impossible. (= If there were no water)
With a little more effort, you'd have passed. (= If you had tried a bit more)(d) Supposing / Suppose / Imagine / Say (= if — faraz qiling):
Supposing you won the lottery, what would you do?
Say you missed the train — what's your plan B? (og'zaki)(e) Participle/ellipsis (qisqartirilgan):
Given more time, we would finish. (= If we were given more time)
Left alone, the system crashes. (= If it is left alone)3.4. If'ning muqobillari — tus bilan
unless = if...not (agar ...masa): I'll go unless it rains.
provided/providing (that), as long as, on condition that = faqat shu shart bilan:
You can borrow it provided (that) you return it tomorrow.
in case = ehtiyot uchun (oldindan): Take an umbrella in case it rains.
even if = ...bo'lsa ham: I'll go even if it rains.
only if = faqat agar (qat'iy shart): Only if you apologise will I forgive you. (+inversion!)
whether...or not = ...yo'qmi: I'll do it whether you like it or not.
what if = -chi, agar: What if it doesn't work?3.5. Nozik zamon ishlatishlari
"If you will/would" (muloyimlik/iltimos — willingness, kelajak emas):
If you will/would wait here, I'll fetch the manager. (muloyim iltimos)
If you will keep interrupting, no wonder you're confused! (g'ashlik — qat'iy odat)
"If + should/happen to" (kamroq ehtimol):
If you should see her / If you happen to see her, say hi.
"If I were to" (kelajak farazi, muloyim):
If I were to offer you the job, would you take it?4. Native nozikliklari va qo'shimcha qoidalar
- "Only if" + inversion: Only if gap boshida asosiy gapda inversiya (C1-2): "Only if you sign will the deal go ahead."
- "had have" — keng XATO: "If I would have known" (AmE og'zaki, noto'g'ri) "If I had known" . would shart bo'lagida kelmaydi.
- "unless" ≠ "if not" har doim ham emas: unless = "faqat shu istisno bo'lmasa". "I'll be upset if you don't call" lekin "...unless you call" — biroz boshqa tus (faqat qo'ng'iroq holatni o'zgartiradi).
- "in case" ≠ "if": in case = oldindan ehtiyot (Take cash in case the card fails — kartadan oldin pul oling). if = shartga javoban. Aralashtirmang.
- "were" rasmiy, "was" og'zaki: If I were/was — ikkalasi eshitiladi, lekin inversion va rasmiy yozuvda faqat were (Were I... — Was I ).
- "provided/as long as" — kuchli shart: "faqat va faqat shu shart bajarilsa". if dan qat'iyroq.
5. Ko'p misollar — tur bo'yicha
MIXED (o'tmishhozir):
If we had invested earlier, we would be profitable now.
Had I listened to you, I wouldn't be in this mess.
MIXED (hoziro'tmish):
If I were a better cook, I would have made dinner myself.
If he weren't so proud, he would have apologised long ago.
INVERTED:
Were I to accept, I'd start on Monday.
Should any issues arise, contact support.
Had it not been for her, the project would have collapsed.
IMPLIED:
But for the storm, we would have sailed.
Without your support, none of this would be possible.
Otherwise, the whole plan falls apart.
Given another chance, I'd do it differently.
ALTERNATIVES:
Unless we act now, it'll be too late.
You may proceed, provided all tests pass.
Only if the data is verified can we publish.6. Holat/case yechimlari
1. "O'sha ishni olganimda, hozir boy bo'lardim" — o'tmish shart, hozir natija.
- If I had taken that job, I would be rich now. (mixed: Past Perfect + would be).
2. "Shunchalik qo'rqoq bo'lmaganimda, o'shanda so'rardim" — hozirgi holat, o'tmish natija.
- If I weren't so timid, I would have asked. (mixed: were + would have).
3. "Yordamingiz bo'lmaganda, muvaffaqiyatsiz bo'lardim" — yashirin, o'tmish.
- But for your help, I would have failed. (= If it hadn't been for).
4. "Agar ishdan ketsam (faraz), kim boshqaradi?" — rasmiy kelajak farazi.
- Were I to leave, who would manage? (Were + to — eng rasmiy).
5. "Agar muammo chiqsa, qo'llab-quvvatlashga murojaat qiling" — rasmiy.
- Should any problems arise, contact support. (Should = tasodifan, rasmiy).
6. Intervyu: "Agar jamoangizga qo'shilsam, men..." — gipotetik."
- If I were to join your team, I would focus on improving the test coverage. (muloyim faraz).
7. Kengaytirilgan lug'at + kollokatsiya (shart iboralari)
| Ibora | Ma'no | Registr |
|---|---|---|
| but for... | ...bo'lmaganda | rasmiy |
| if it weren't/hadn't been for... | ...bo'lmaganda edi | neytral-rasmiy |
| were it not for... | ...bo'lmaganda (inversion) | rasmiy |
| otherwise | aks holda | neytral |
| provided/providing (that) | ...sharti bilan | rasmiy |
| on condition that | ...sharti bilan (qat'iy) | rasmiy |
| as long as | ...ekan, toki | neytral |
| in the event of/that | ...bo'lgan taqdirda | rasmiy |
| supposing / suppose | faraz qilaylik | og'zaki-neytral |
| given (that) | ...ni hisobga olib | neytral-rasmiy |
| should you... | agar ...bo'lsangiz | rasmiy |
Tayyor iboralar (C1 — gipotetik muhokama):
- If I were in your shoes, I'd... — Sizning o'rningizda bo'lsam...
- That said, if push came to shove,... — Shunday bo'lsa-da, ish chappasiga ketsa...
- Hypothetically speaking, were we to... — Faraziy aytganda, agar biz...
Native siri: intervyu/biznes muhokamasida gipotetik shart kuchli vosita: "If I were to take this role, my first priority would be..." (muloyim, professional faraz) yoki "Were we to adopt this approach, we'd need to consider...". Bu sizni strategik fikrlovchi sifatida ko'rsatadi — to'g'ridan "I will" emas, balki "faraziy" muhokama orqali ehtiyotkor, professional ohang.
8. Dialog (ilg'or shart — professional)
Manager: So, hypothetically, if you were to lead this project, where would you start? You: Good question. Were I in charge, I'd first audit the codebase. Had the previous team documented things properly, we wouldn't be guessing now — but as it is, we are. Manager: Fair. And if things went wrong mid-launch? You: Should any critical bug arise, I'd roll back immediately. But for a solid rollback plan, even a small error could be catastrophic. Manager: I like that. Provided you had the budget, what would you add? You: Given more resources, I'd invest in automated testing. Without it, we'd keep firefighting. Honestly, if we had built that earlier, we wouldn't be in this position today. Manager: Supposing I gave you two engineers — enough? You: As long as they're experienced, yes. Otherwise, I'd rather have one senior than two juniors.
Tahlil: if you were to, Were I, Had the previous team..., Should any...arise, But for, Provided, Given, Without, if we had built...wouldn't be (mixed), Supposing, As long as, Otherwise — 12+ shart shakli real intervyu/professional suhbatda. Bu — strategik, ehtiyotkor, professional fikrlash tili.
9. O'qish — graded matn (C1 — shartlarga boy, immersiv)
The grammar of possibility
Few areas of English reward mastery as richly as the conditional. Were a learner to stop at the four basic types, much of the language's subtlety would remain out of reach. For native speakers rarely confine themselves to a tidy "if": they reach instead for a whole arsenal of forms.
Consider how time bends. Had the inventor given up after his first failure, the world would be a poorer place today — a past cause yielding a present result. Or reverse it: were she not so cautious by nature, she would have taken the risk years ago. The clauses refuse to march in step, and therein lies their power.
Then there are the hidden conditionals — those that wear no "if" at all. But for a chance encounter, the two might never have met. Without luck, talent alone seldom suffices. Otherwise, the story would have ended quite differently.
Should you wish to write with precision, then, it is worth mastering these forms. For given the choice between a single, repeated "if" and the full range English offers, the fluent writer will always choose range. Were it not for such flexibility, the language would be the poorer — and so, in turn, would we.
Topshiriq: Matndan 6 xil shart shakli toping (mixed, inverted, but for, without, otherwise, were it not for). Bittasini oddiy if-gapga aylantiring.
10. Tipik xatolar (L1 transfer + ilg'or shart)
| Xato | Sababi | To'g'risi |
|---|---|---|
| If I would have known... | would shart bo'lagida | If I had known... |
| If I had studied, I would have been a doctor now | "now" hozir natija | ...I would be a doctor now (mixed) |
| Were I knew... | Were + V2 | Were I to know / Had I known |
| But for you didn't help... | but for + ot/ism | But for your help,... |
| Unless you don't hurry... | unless ichida inkor takror | Unless you hurry,... |
| In case it rains, I won't go | in case ≠ if | If it rains, I won't go (in case = ehtiyot) |
| Only if you apologise I'll forgive | inversiya yo'q | Only if you apologise will I forgive |
| Should you will need... | should + will | Should you need... |
Asosiy tuzoq: (1) if-bo'lagida would yo'q (had, not would have); (2) mixed — "now/today" hozir natija (would be), o'tmish belgi would have; (3) Were + to + V1 (Were + V2 emas); (4) but for/without + ot (gap emas); (5) only if gap boshida inversiya; (6) should + V1 (will emas).
11. Chuqur tahlil — qo'shimcha faktlar va nozikliklar
C1 dan C2 ga ko'prik.
(a) "Real vs unreal" — chegara. 1-shart (real: If it rains, I'll stay) — mumkin. 2/3-shart (unreal: If it rained/had rained) — xayoliy/imkonsiz. C1 da bu chegara nozik: "If you were to..." — kelajakda mumkin, lekin uzoq/ehtiyotkor faraz (real bilan unreal orasida).
(b) "Should" shartda = ehtimolni pasaytirish. "If you need help" (oddiy) vs "If you should need help" (kamroq ehtimol, "bordi-yu") vs "Should you need help" (rasmiy). Uchovi shart, lekin should "ehtimol past" tusini qo'shadi — rasmiy email/hujjatda muloyim.
(c) "Were to" — voqeani uzoqlashtirish. "If I lose my job" (yaqin, real ehtimol) vs "If I were to lose my job" (uzoqroq, gipotetik). Were to voqeani "kamroq ehtimol/faraziy" qiladi — nozik psixologik masofa (C1-1).
(d) "Otherwise" — ikki tomonlama. Oldingi gapga qarab "aks holda": "I wrote it down; otherwise I'd have forgotten" (o'tmish) yoki "Hurry, otherwise we'll be late" (kelajak). Otherwise = "if not (that)" — butun oldingi vaziyatni shartga aylantiradi.
(e) Ellipsis va participle shart. "If necessary" (= if it is necessary), "if possible", "if anything", "if in doubt". Va participle: "Properly maintained, the engine lasts years" (= If it is properly maintained). Eng ixcham, rasmiy shart — texnik/akademik yozuvda ko'p.
(f) "If...will" — ikki holat. Odatda if + Present (if it rains). LEKIN: (1) muloyimlik/iltimos: "If you will wait..." (= agar kutishga rozi bo'lsangiz); (2) g'ashlik: "If you will keep doing that..." (= agar shunday qilishni davom ettirsangiz). Bu yerda will = "xohish/rozilik", kelajak emas.
(g) "Unless" cheklovi. Unless = "faqat bu istisno bo'lmasa". "I won't call unless it's urgent" . Lekin emotsional/farazi inkorda unless ishlamaydi: "I'd be surprised if she didn't come" (unless bu yerda). Nozik farq.
(h) Davomiy (continuous) shart — nozik, ko'p e'tibordan chetda. Shart va natija bo'laklari davomiy shaklda ham kelishi mumkin va bu ma'noni aniqlashtiradi. Shartda: "If you had been listening, you'd know the answer" (= o'sha payt tinglab turganingizda) — bir martalik emas, davom etgan holat. Natijada: "If I'd taken that job, I would be living in London now" (hozir yashab turgan bo'lardim) yoki "If she hadn't warned me, I would still be making that mistake" (hali ham davom etardim). Native uchun would be doing / had been doing — voqeaning davomiyligi yoki ayni jarayon ekaniga urg'u; oddiy would do dan nozik farqli. Bu ayniqsa mixed shartda tabiiy: "Had I not switched careers, I'd probably be sitting in an office right now."
(i) Shart + register. Eng rasmiy: inversion (Should you), in the event that, provided that. Neytral: if, unless, as long as. Og'zaki: say, suppose, what if. Bir matnda registerni izchil saqlang (B2-54). Texnik hujjatda: "In the event of failure, the system shall...".
C2 ko'prik: shart gaplarni to'liq egallash — gipotetik fikrlashni nozik va aniq ifodalash demakdir. C2 da siz vaqt (o'tmish/hozir/kelajak) va reallik (real/xayoliy) o'lchamlarini erkin birlashtirib, eng mos shaklni intuitiv tanlaysiz: muloyim faraz (were you to), kuchli shart (provided that), yashirin shart (but for). Bu — strategik muloqot, intervyu va akademik yozuvning yuragi. Shart + subjunctive + inversion + modallar (keyingi) — gipotetik registr to'liq egallanadi.
