B2 — 9-dars: Modals review + deduction to'liq (xulosa va taxmin)
B2 — YUQORI O'RTA · 9-dars
1. Dars nomi, maqsad va motivatsiya
Biz har kuni dalillarga qarab xulosa chiqaramiz: "Chiroq o'chiq — uyda hech kim yo'q bo'lsa kerak." "U javob bermayapti — band bo'lishi mumkin." "Buni aniq bilib bo'lmaydi — Tom aytgan bo'lsa kerak." Bu — deduction (xulosa/taxmin), va ingliz tili buni modal fe'llar bilan ifodalaydi: must, can't, might, could, may.
Bu mavzu o'zbeklar uchun nozik: o'zbekcha "bo'lsa kerak / bo'lishi mumkin / aniq" tushunchalarini ingliz tili modallarning aniqlik darajasi bilan beradi. Va eng katta tuzoq — must not (taqiq) ni can't (mantiqiy imkonsizlik) bilan adashtirish.
B2 darajada modal deduction — sizning fikr-mulohaza chuqurligingizni ko'rsatadi. Detektiv kabi dalillardan xulosa chiqarish — IELTS, intervyu va kundalik suhbatda zarur.
Real hayotda nega kerak:
- Xulosa: "He's not answering — he must be asleep."
- Imkonsizlik: "That can't be right — check the numbers again."
- Ehtimol: "She might have missed the train."
- Texnik: "The build failed — there must be a syntax error."
ASOSIY tushuncha — modal = ISHONCH darajasi. Bir xil vaziyatga turli aniqlik darajasi:
Ishonch Modal Misol 100% ijobiy (aniq shunday) must He must be tired. ~50% (ehtimol) might / may / could He might be tired. 100% inkor (aniq emas) can't / couldn't He can't be tired. Bu fakt emas, XULOSA — dalilga asoslangan ishonch. He must be tired = "aniq bilmayman, lekin dalilga ko'ra shunday deb o'ylayman".
O'xshatish — detektiv: modal deduction = Sherlock Holmes. U faktni ko'rmaydi, lekin dalillardan xulosa chiqaradi: "Etigingizda loy bor — siz bog'da bo'lgan bo'lsangiz kerak (must have been)". Aniqlik darajasiga qarab modal tanlaydi: must (ishonchim komil), might (ehtimol), can't (mumkin emas).
2. Avvalgi darslardan takror (spiral)
- B1-17 (Modals of deduction kirish): must/can't/might be. Bugun to'liq + o'tmish + continuous.
- B1-19 (Modal perfects): must/could/might have + V3. Bugun deduction kontekstida.
- B2-1 (zamonlar): continuous (be + V-ing) — must be working.
- Tez mashq: "Chiroq yoniq — uyda kimdir ___ (bor bo'lsa kerak)" must be home.
3. Grammatika — chuqur, to'liq tushuntirish
3.1. HOZIRGI xulosa — modal + be / V1
must / can't / might / may / could + be (sifat/ot) / V1| Modal | Ma'no | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| must be | aniq shunday (ishonch) | You must be joking! |
| can't be | aniq emas (imkonsiz) | That can't be true. |
| might/may/could be | bo'lishi mumkin | She might be at work. |
He must know the answer. (aniq biladi)
They can't live here — it's too expensive. (yashay olmaydi)
It might rain later. (bo'lishi mumkin)3.2. HOZIR davom etayotgan xulosa — modal + be + V-ing
The lights are on — they must be working late. (hozir ishlashayotgan bo'lsa kerak)
She's not answering — she might be driving. (haydayotgan bo'lishi mumkin)
He can't be sleeping — it's only 8pm. (uxlayotgan bo'lishi mumkin emas)3.3. O'TMISH xulosa — modal + have + V3
must / can't / might / may / could + have + V3| Modal | Ma'no | Misol |
|---|---|---|
| must have + V3 | aniq qilgan (o'tmish) | He must have left early. |
| can't/couldn't have + V3 | aniq qilmagan | She can't have known. |
| might/may/could have + V3 | qilgan bo'lishi mumkin | They might have forgotten. |
The ground is wet — it must have rained. (yomg'ir yoqqan bo'lsa kerak)
He can't have finished already — it's only been five minutes. (tugatgan bo'lishi mumkin emas)
I might have left my phone at home. (qoldirgan bo'lishim mumkin)3.4. O'TMISHDA davom etgan xulosa — modal + have been + V-ing
She was exhausted — she must have been working all night. (tun bo'yi ishlagan bo'lsa kerak)
He might have been waiting for hours. (soatlab kutgan bo'lishi mumkin)3.5. can't vs mustn't — ENG MUHIM farq
| can't (deduction) | mustn't (taqiq) | |
|---|---|---|
| Ma'no | mantiqan imkonsiz | qilish taqiqlangan |
| Misol | That can't be true. (bo'lishi mumkin emas) | You mustn't smoke here. (chekish taqiqlangan) |
Deduction'da inkor = "can't", "mustn't" EMAS!
- He mustn't be home (deduction nazarda) He can't be home.
- mustn't faqat taqiq uchun. Aniq inkor xulosa uchun can't / couldn't.
3.6. should/ought to — kutilgan natija (deduction emas, EXPECTATION)
He left at 6, so he should be home by now. (kelgan bo'lishi kerak — kutilyapti)
The package should have arrived yesterday. (kelishi kerak edi)should = "mantiqan kutilyapti" (lekin ishonch must dan kamroq). He must be home (ishonchim komil) vs He should be home (shunday bo'lishi kerak, kutilyapti).
4. Native nozikliklari va qo'shimcha qoidalar
- must — faqat IJOBIY xulosa. Inkor xulosa uchun must not EMAS, can't ishlatiladi. (must taqiq/majburiyatda ham bor — B2-11.)
- may/might/could — deyarli bir xil deduction'da. could biroz kamroq ishonch. may rasmiyroq.
- couldn't have = can't have (o'tmish imkonsizlik): She couldn't have seen me — I was hidden.
- Ohang muhim: must va can't kuchli ishonch beradi; ortiqcha ishlatsangiz "qat'iy" eshitiladi. Noaniqlikda might/may.
- "must have been + sifat": I must have been crazy to agree! (o'tmishdagi holat).
- will / won't — ishonchli taxmin (nativelar juda ko'p ishlatadi). Hozirgi vaziyat haqida kuchli, deyarli aniq xulosa uchun will/won't ishlatiladi (kelasi zamon emas): eshik taqilladi — "That'll be the postman." (pochtachi bo'lsa kerak). "Don't call now — she won't be awake yet." (hali uyg'onmagan bo'lsa kerak). O'tmish uchun — will have + V3: "They'll have landed by now." (allaqachon qo'ngan bo'lsa kerak). Bu must ga yaqin, lekin tabiiy suhbatda ko'proq eshitiladi.
- Texnik dasturchi: "It must be a null pointer." / "The test can't have passed — look at the logs." / "It might be a race condition." — debugging tili.
5. Ko'p misollar
HOZIR:
- The phone's ringing inside — someone must be home.
- You can't be serious! (jiddiy bo'lishingiz mumkin emas)

8. Dialog (detektiv — deduction)
A: The office is empty, but the computer's still on. What do you think? B: Well, someone must have been here recently — the screen's not even asleep. A: Could it be the cleaner? B: No, it can't be the cleaner — they finished hours ago. And look, there's a half-full coffee. It must still be warm. A: So whoever it is might still be in the building. B: Exactly. They can't have gone far. Judging by the jacket on the chair, they must have left in a hurry. A: Or they may have just stepped out for a moment. B: Either way, something's wrong. People don't leave like this unless they must have had a good reason.
Tahlil: must have been (o'tmish xulosa), can't be (hozir imkonsiz), must be warm (hozir xulosa), might still be (ehtimol), can't have gone (o'tmish imkonsiz), must have left (o'tmish xulosa), may have stepped out (ehtimol). To'liq deduction tizimi.
9. O'qish — graded matn
The mystery of the Mary Celeste
In 1872, a ship called the Mary Celeste was found drifting in the Atlantic — completely abandoned. The crew must have left in a hurry, because their belongings were still on board. But why?
They can't have been attacked — there was no sign of violence. The cargo was untouched, so it couldn't have been pirates. Some experts think the crew might have feared an explosion and abandoned ship in panic.
Others argue the captain may have made a terrible misjudgement. Whatever happened, the sailors must have believed they were in danger — otherwise, why leave a perfectly good ship?
Over 150 years later, we still don't know. One thing is certain: those men must have had a reason — we just can't know what it was.
Savollar: (1) Matndan 3 ta "must have + V3" toping. (2) "They can't have been attacked" — nega can't, mustn't emas? (3) "might have feared" va "must have believed" — qaysi ishonch darajada farq qiladi?
10. Keng tarqalgan xatolar (L1 ta'siri)
| Xato | To'g'ri | Sabab |
|---|---|---|
| He mustn't be home (deduction) | He can't be home | inkor xulosa can't |
| She must to be tired | She must be tired | modal + V1 (to siz) |
| It must rained | It must have rained | o'tmish must have + V3 |
| He must have went | He must have gone | have + V3 (gone) |
| She can't have knew | She can't have known | have + V3 |
| He must be work now | He must be working now | hozir davom be + V-ing |
| I must be wrong yesterday | I must have been wrong | o'tmish have been |
| That mustn't be true | That can't be true | imkonsizlik can't |
Asosiy tuzoq #1: inkor xulosa = can't, mustn't EMAS (mustn't = taqiq). Tuzoq #2: o'tmish xulosa = modal + have + V3 ("must rained" emas).
