Sizning maqsadingiz — ikkovini tushunish, lekin bittasida izchil gapirish/yozish. Yarmi amerikacha, yarmi britancha — "g'alati" eshitiladi.
Til-fakti: dunyoda AmE ko'proq tarqalgan (Hollywood, texnologiya, internet) — shuning uchun ko'p o'rganuvchi (va dasturchilar) AmE'ga moyil. Eng xavfli: chips — BrE'da "kartoshka frisi" (qalin, issiq), AmE'da esa "chips" = nozik quruq chipslar (BrE buni crisps deydi). Ya'ni bir so'z ikki xil taomni bildiradi. Va first floor — AmE: 1-qavat; BrE: 2-qavat (BrE 1-qavat = ground floor)! Bu — chinakam tushunmovchilik manbai.
